About Fumihiko Maki:

The principal of Tokyo-based firm Maki and Associates, Fumihiko Maki has been recognized with many of architecture’s highest accolades, including the Pritzker Prize in 1993, and the AIA Gold Medal in 2011. With a career spanning six decades, Maki’s work merges Japanese architectural traditions with Modernist influences.
