UBC Konwakai Chair program:
It is a research, teaching and policy engagement focused on Navigating the Age of Global Disruptions and looking at many dimensions of the global order up for grabs.
We include voices from many parts of the world, including Japan, as we focus on issues such as climate change, global ocean governance, global digital and AI governance, the response to the Ukraine war, and G20 or APEC politics.
As part of this larger project, we include a study of Japan’s role and leadership in the global order.
